The Nintendo DS arrived in 2004 with two screens, a touchscreen and a microphone, and went on to become one of the best-selling game systems ever made. It reached far beyond traditional gamers with Nintendogs and Brain Age while also delivering New Super Mario Bros., Mario Kart DS, The World Ends with You, Phoenix Wright and Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
