Yoshi Touch & Go is a platformer released in 2005 for the Nintendo DS, developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo. It blends platformer and puzzle elements.

It came out in the DS's second year on the market. Other notable DS releases from 2005 include Mario Kart DS, Nintendogs and Super Mario 64 DS. Among the 55 DS platformers in our database, it ranks #9 by legacy score.

It is part of the Yoshi series; on the DS you can also try Yoshi's Island DS. The series also appears on other systems with Yoshi's Story (N64) and Yoshi Topsy-Turvy (GBA). Nintendo EAD also made Mario Kart DS, New Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the DS.

Yoshi Touch & Go supports up to 2 players, whether that means taking turns or going head-to-head.

What playing Yoshi Touch & Go is like

Platformers are all about movement: running, jumping and timing your way across levels full of gaps, enemies and secrets. The best ones feel great to control within seconds and then slowly teach you to master every leap.

Tip for newcomers: Retro platformers often have limited lives and few checkpoints. Learn one level at a time, look for hidden 1-ups, and don't be shy about using a save feature when it is available.
