TurboGrafx-16 / PC Engine games

NEC's PC Engine was a hit in Japan from 1987 and arrived in North America as the TurboGrafx-16 in 1989. Its credit-card-sized HuCards hosted a superb run of shooters and platformers, including Bonk's Adventure and Blazing Lazers.

The TurboGrafx library is a shmup fan's dream and full of games most Western players never tried. The TurboGrafx-16 Mini and Nintendo Switch Online have brought many of them back.

Matrix Picks tracks 158 TurboGrafx-16 games, 69 of which support two or more players.
