Intellivision games

Mattel's Intellivision went head-to-head with the Atari 2600 from 1979, selling itself on more detailed graphics and deeper sports and strategy games. Its distinctive controller combined a 16-direction disc with a keypad and slide-in overlays for each game.

Intellivision games reward patience: many are slower, more strategic designs than their Atari rivals. Official compilations have kept a large part of the library available on modern platforms.
