How to play Pixel Pick
Every day there's one mystery game. You see its box art as a handful of giant pixels and seven possible titles. Pick the one you think it is. Every wrong guess crosses out that title and makes the picture sharper, and you get six guesses in total.
Stuck? After your third miss we tell you the year it came out, and after your fifth we add the console. The answer is always a well-known classic from the NES, Super NES, Genesis, Nintendo 64, PlayStation, Game Boy, Nintendo DS, Dreamcast or another console we cover. The wrong answers come from the same console and era, so the obvious pick isn't always right.
Everyone gets the same puzzle on the same day, and a new one unlocks at midnight in your time zone. Share your result without spoiling the answer: the share grid only shows how many tries you needed. When you're done, the game's page has our take on it, the best guides and what to play next.
