Sega CD games
The Sega CD (Mega-CD) add-on brought CD-ROM storage to the Genesis in 1991–92. It is remembered for full-motion video experiments, but also for gems such as Sonic CD, Lunar: The Silver Star and Snatcher.
Sega CD games can be hard to find at reasonable prices, so the system is best explored through its top handful of titles rather than its full library.
Matrix Picks tracks 112 Sega CD games, 15 of which support two or more players.
