Bowling is a sports game released in 2000 for the PlayStation, developed by Tamsoft Corporation and published by A1 Games.

It landed about 5 years into the PS1's life. Other notable PS1 releases from 2000 include Final Fantasy IX, Rayman 2: The Great Escape and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.

It is part of the Simple 1500 series; on the PS1 you can also try Racing and Shooter: Space Shot. The series also appears on other systems with Volfied (Genesis) and Volfied (C64). Tamsoft Corporation also made Guardian's Crusade for the PS1.

Bowling supports up to 4 players, whether that means taking turns or going head-to-head.

Pick it if…

  • you want to race and compete
  • you have time for a quick session (under an hour, or endless arcade fun)
  • you have a friend to play against
  • you've played the PS1 hits and want something less obvious

Maybe skip it if…

  • you need current teams and rosters

What playing Bowling is like

Sports games bring football, baseball, hockey, golf, tennis, wrestling and more to the console, from simulation-style management to over-the-top arcade action.

Tip for newcomers: Arcade-style sports games are the easiest to enjoy today; simulation titles may have outdated rosters but still offer satisfying gameplay.
