Developed by Sculptured Software and published by Parker Brothers, Boggle Plus arrived on the Game Boy in 1992 as a board, card or party game.

It landed about 3 years into the Game Boy's life. Other notable Game Boy releases from 1992 include Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, Kirby's Dream Land and Mega Man III.

Sculptured Software also made WWF Superstars 2, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Kingdom Crusade for the Game Boy.

Boggle Plus is a single-player game, so it's one to enjoy at your own pace.

Pick it if…

  • you want to think and plan
  • you have time for a quick session (under an hour, or endless arcade fun)
  • you've played the Game Boy hits and want something less obvious

Maybe skip it if…

  • you want action or story rather than tabletop-style play
  • you are looking for something to play with friends

What playing Boggle Plus is like

Board, card, quiz and party games bring tabletop classics and social games to the screen, from chess and mahjong to trivia and casino games.
