Developed by Namco, Tekken arrived on the PlayStation in 1995 as a fighting game. This PS1 release is a port or adaptation of a game that first appeared in 1994.
It belongs to the PS1's earliest wave of games. Other notable PS1 releases from 1995 include Rayman, Mortal Kombat 3 and FIFA Soccer 96.
