Developed by Hudson and published by Nintendo, Classic NES Series: Bomberman arrived on the Game Boy Advance in 2004 as an action game.
It landed about 3 years into the GBA's life. Other notable GBA releases from 2004 include The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, Mario vs. Donkey Kong and Sonic Advance 3.
It is part of the Bomberman series; on the GBA you can also try Bomberman Tournament, Bomberman Max 2: Blue Advance and Bomberman Max 2: Red Advance. The series also appears on other systems with Bomberman II (NES) and Bomberman 64 (N64). Hudson also made Hatena Satena, Blender Bros. and Ninja Cop for the GBA.
This is a solo experience: one player, no waiting on anyone else.
Pick it if…

- you prefer slow, thoughtful games over reflex tests
- you are looking for something to play with friends
